Greetings, to all our new and renewing members. I trust the summer is going well for all of you. I hope that you like the improved look of our website. Hopefully, you will find navigating through the site easy and convenient. This year we have added a new link that allows you to join or renew your membership online.

As the association embarks on another year of service, there are a myriad of opportunities for members to make an impact. There continue to be significant challenges that face populations of color with regards to health disparities and access to healthcare. The MABP remains committed to partnering with others to ensure that we move closer to achieving the goals of “Healthy People 2010” and to eliminating the disparities in health that face populations of color.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our graduating resident members as well as our affiliated members of SNMA at the University of Minnesota and the Mayo Clinic. We wish you all the very best in your future endeavors. For those staying in Minnesota, please continue to join us for meetings and other community events as your schedules allow.
